The Day Before the Day
Hey look--I'm blogging today when I wasn't sure if I'd be able to. Yay!
Ben and I made it to Reno last night and got to my family's house around 9:15 pm. We stayed up for a little while just catching up a little bit. I showed everyone (except Ben) my wedding dress; they all love it! All they really got to see before were cruddy cell phone pictures. Then it was off to bed.
Cool
I set my alarm this morning for 8:30 am knowing that I didn't have to be anywhere 'til 10 am (Men's Warehouse to pick up Ben's tux). I woke up earlier than that, checked the time, and it was only 6:27 am. But I couldn't fall back to sleep; I was too excited to be here! So I've been up for awhile.
Today's plans:
- Men's Warehouse
- Definitely see and play with my nephews
- Relax a lot
- Dinner with family when they all get into town

10 Month Anniversary
Ben and I were SO busy last night, but we finally got mostly everything done, and to bed around 11:30 pm. All that's left is moving some last personal belongings to his house this afternoon and a little last-minute packing, and then we are on our way to Reno! Yippee!
Being so busy and all, I completely spaced that today is our anniversary of when we "first met" (over the phone). Oh, but Ben didn't forget! He showed his love, and made me a yummy Spanish omelet for breakfast. Oh my gosh. He's the best! I felt bad that I had forgotten, but my Benny is quick to forgive. Today marks 10 months since we first met!
Not sure if I'll post again before the wedding, so you might not hear from me until next week.
And a reminder: I will be switching to a new blog for our new family, so be sure to check this blog next week for a link to our new blog. Thanks!

Busy Getting Ready for the Wedding
Last night was busy, and tonight will be busy too getting everything ready for our trip to Reno.
Last night, I cleaned my bedroom and bathroom in the home I've lived in for the last few months. I've been living with my best friend's parents, and I'm so grateful to them for this kind, kind gesture. I also started to gather some of my belongings and brought them over to Ben's house (where we both will live). While I was busy doing all of that, Ben began to get our master bedroom ready. It's not all the way there yet, but we'll finish that up tonight.
Tonight's plans are many too:

Tonight's plans are many too:
- Finish bringing all of my clothes and belongings to Ben's.
- Laundry.
- Pack for our trip tomorrow.
- Ben gets a haircut from his mom.
- Ben's mom is also doing my nails for the wedding.
- Finish the master bedroom set-up.

Win, Hair, and Beef Stroganoff
Yesterday was awesome!
Ben and I went to Smith's yesterday cuz they were having this special deal. When we got there, we saw that they were also having customer appreciation day. This random lady gave us two raffle tickets. We later found out that every 15 minutes, they called a few ticket numbers. If your number got called, you got to spin a wheel with six colors. No matter which color you landed on you got a free food item. Each color had its own designated food.
Part way through our shopping, our number was called. It was so dang exciting. So we hurried up to the front of the store where they were all set up with this wheel. I spun the wheel and got yellow. Yellow meant free dip from the deli. We had our choice of spinach, ranch, or dill. I chose dill. Hope it will taste yummy. Anyway, more exciting than winning the dip was just winning in general. So cool! 267 is now our lucky number! Haha.
Also got my hair done the way that it'll be done for the wedding--just for practice. The family I live with--their son's girlfriend, Kate, loves doing hair. She did my hair and had my BFF Sophia watch. Sophia will copy that look for my wedding. It's gorgeous! Kate is letting me borrow all her hair products to take to Reno. Thanks Kate! Will it be up or down? You'll just have to wait and see!
Then Ben cooked some yummy beef stroganoff for dinner yesterday. He's a great cook!

Short Update
This week's kind of been crazy health-wise. Sick with a cold (I'm better now) and not one--but two--dental appointments. So happy it's the weekend (although it promises to be semi-busy)!
And only one week until I marry my dear love, Ben. Yay!!!

Colds and Halloween
I'm dealing with a cold right now. Fun. I left work earlier yesterday so I could go home and get some rest.
Ben's house got lots of trick-or-treaters last night! The first 24 kids got silly string because Ben's cool like that. He usually doesn't get too many kids to his house, so he thought the silly string would be enough. But this year he got more than usual, so we had to start giving away candy. Boring. Just kidding!
Ben's mom came over last night to watch a scary movie with us, but I left before they started so I could get more sleep. Lame!
Just glad that I got this cold when I did, and that I won't be sick for our wedding, which is only 10 days away!
